Call for buskers

The Vancouver Symphony will be hosting 12 hours of free music taking place from 10am-10pm, 26th January as part of our 100th-anniversary celebration. We’re interested in identifying buskers who would be interested in playing outside the venues (Orpheum, Pyatt Hall, and Orpheum, Annex) throughout the peak times of the day. We’re anticipating 10,000 people over the day.

We have 45 minute slots in the morning and evening. We’ll be booking slots from 9:30-12:30 and 4:00-8:00. We’re looking for musicians that perform jazz, world, or classical instruments. We can provide AC power at both of the locations, on a sidewalk outside of the Orpheum theatre. Both locations are under cover from the elements.

If interested please email duncan@vancouversymphony.ca, providing when you would be interested in playing and a link showcasing your music.
