White Rock Buskers Festival – Call for Performers Application

The City of White Rock is organizing the inaugural White Rock Buskers Festival. The festival strives to broaden the scope of work, improve visibility and skills of the artists involved in the craft of street performing, to increase community engagement and awareness as to the artistry and talent of street and busking performers both locally, nationally and internationally.
We are seeking a wide variety of street performers to busk at four locations in Uptown White Rock. Successful applicants will perform two 45-minute sets on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Performers will be remunerated $250 and have the opportunity to collect funds from audience members.

Performance Locations:
– Five Corners (15223 Pacific Ave)-White
– Rock Clock Tower (1237 Johnston Rd)
– Saltaire Amphitheater (15231 Thrift Ave)
– Miramar Amphitheater (15154 Russell Ave)

Performance Date and time: -Saturday May 5, 2018 from 11:00am- 5:00pm
Performance Remuneration: -$250 for two 45- minute sets, plus collecting funds from the audienceWe are seeking a wide variety of street performers including magicians, clowns, acrobats, puppeteers, jugglers, musicians and dancers.
